Well im 16 and am on Prozac....and i have heard from a lot of ppl that says that anti-depressants cause more trouble for teens that it helps for them and its not the best thing for teens to be on these...do u find this true at all?

A lot of antidepressants in teens cause an increase in suicidal ideations. Your doctor should know what he/she is doing, though so just keep taking it like it's prescribed, but tell him/her about any side effects you might be having.
Reply:Each %26amp; every medication affects each person differently.
My 14 yr old daughter just started on Prozac 20mg daily. Time will tell if it helps her!
