TEENS (girls mostly)......?

I'm wondering how you feel about your parents right now, as you're in your teen years. Do you like and honor them, or dislike and disrespect them?





I'm trying to compare with others I know. Oh, and I also put it in this section because lots of teens are in here :O)

honor..being away at college makes you repect them and what they have done for you
Reply:Sometimes I dislike them, but for the most part, I love them
Reply:I love my parents and i'm not embarrased to say it. Most of my friends go weeks without talking to their own parents and its nothing liek that for me.. We are really close and i respect them. They are fun to hang out with too so i guess thats partly why..
Reply:I'm 14 (a month away from being 15) and I have a pretty okay relationship with my parents. I wouldn't call us best friends, but we're close I guess. We fight some times, but mostly just little bicker matches. They're not the type of parents to ground me, or punish me at all really. I guess I'm lucky. My parents defiantly get on my last nerves, but I'm sure that's just normal teenage stuff.
Reply:I used to always respect them. But when my parents got divorced I was around 11/12, and I started to realise what a total c**t my dad was.





I total disrespect him now for all the **** hes put my mum through, and I don't have any contact with him anymore, even though he still sees my brother and sister all the time.





Me and my mum went through a mayjor bad patch last year, and at the time, I really hated her, and had no respect for her.





But now I've kinda grown up and we get on much better, and looking back I kinda realised what a cow I was to her, and I have so much respect for her now. (I'm 15 now btw)





She recently went on holiday with her bf for a week, and I never thought I'd say it, but I actually missed her well loads.





I think it just goes to show really :)

I don't really like my parents


my mom makes me really mad by the choices she is making and putting me in a really tough situation


I like my dad alright though


I live with my dad


my dad %26amp; I don't argue


I listen to my dad and was he has to say then if I agree with it I'll take it to heart if not I throw it out the window

its hard to get along with my mom bc she well lets just say she has called alot of upset feelings with me bc she started dating this complete loser who i hate with a ******* passion six days after she left my dad


I know things will get better but for now I like my dad and am on ok terms with my parents


I do like to hang out with them though


I'm not embarassed to go places with them


%26amp;%26amp; I don't care if they bring out the baby pictures cause i was a C.U.T.I.E.

me and dad used to be best friends but now


all we do is argue, i dunno


he just has a bad temper


and so do I, mix them together and it's a catatraphe (?)
Reply:I dislike them, but its because of family problems overall. If I'm not perfect, I'm a failure.





There are some days where I love them and most days I want to kill them.





I am slowly getting used to their methods still and it becomes really stressful for me sometimes.

we understand that they do certain thing because they love us.
Reply:I am 16 and I love, honor, and respect my mom. She's the only parent I got, and I treat her like my best friend and my mother (when it comes to her advice and decisions, even when I don't agree I submit anyways and question later). Yup!

Reply:my family is very close! so I respect them, just as much as they respect me.


But my friends' relationship with their parents are totally different from mine

Reply:I really like my dad and i respect him, but on a human level. but i hate my mom cause shes a ***** and she stole lots of stuff from my family and shes a pothead and she ran away illegally and shes just a fat coon ***

Reply:i like them, but atm i get really angry with them easily, and i fight with them quite a bit cos of my stepdad, but i always make up with them quickly, and my dad has a new girlfriend so i havent seen him in ages, so neither for him.. just whatever.. and im learning to get alon heaps better with my parents i live with cos theres no need to fight. i dont really honor them or direspect them.
