Why are so many teens into this crap?

Sorry for calling it crap, please don't get offended. It's just that, so many teens like my age, I'm 14 . And their all into these stupid teen movies like "American pie" and "Super Bad" with all these stupid sex jokes. What ever happened to good jokes that aren't dirty and still funny? It's like to them nothing is funny if it doesn't have the word "Penis" or "Vagina" or Cursing and other dirty things. To me none of this is funny, what's so funny about it? Ugh, Sometimes I feel lonely as a teen girl who hates all these things made for teens to pollution their minds, I find Shakespeare funny sometimes, but they don't get it! I find radio funny, good ol clean radio and I LOL even, but they don't get it cause DJs aren't allowed to curse or be dirty on the radio. Like, and porno...Come on people, they just say "Not available for minors" so that they won't get sued or something. But they are really intended for minors who don't have debts to worry about and it's all spend spend spend!!

I totally agree with you. I mean, just look at our society now. Our pop culture, for instance, is full of profanities and other porno or insulting stuff. Teens nowadays are swearing and cursing like nobody's business.





The world is different now, people. sometimes you just have to accept it.

Reply:YES! I thought I was the only one who''s hating this thing. Before I like seeing things like that (when I was 13) but not too exaggerated like smoking in "bigiyna" or licking the "paynese" NO! Since one of my friends told me to stop this f*cking things. Then she says that if I'm going to continue to stuffs like this, I'll just end nothing but to be a "peerbert". Well, I'm 14 and I think Most of the guys in our school are "peerbert", I remember the time when one of my classmates take a picture of my friend's "boobsie" but NOT naked, okay, apparently she have a very big boobies. Whew, I think the society today is so different, even my parents keep on arguing me for my taste of music (rock and pop) even my style, sometimes it hurts but their too hard to appreciate. Oh I forgot to mention, for your question I think find NEW friends who's not like that and then if they asked you to like stuffs like that just "NO! I WON'T!" don't take their offer, mostly people today are so different from before. The generation today change so fast, that before women love to cover their selves with cute fabric cotton dresses, now their not ashamed showing their bodies. Well let's just be with them

Young minds (like us) are easily influenced, it's not their fault. Neither is it yours. You're not different, just because you believe in something right doesn't mean you are. Well done for you. Find some friends, not like them. My classmates (most of them are 11) say stuff like this all the time. Just don't mind them. Do your own thing. =)

I think they feel more grown up because they now understand stupid jokes about sex and are allowed to watch these types of movies...but really someone liking these types of movies just proves they are more immature. Reply:Because that is the mold society and the media is putting our generation in and sadly most of us are falling into and live a life that would usually be looked down on but now it seems to be "normal" which not everyone has to form to. I mean not gana lie im 16 and ive had my fill of bad stuff ya no and i love super troopers but its not like im falling into this trap and liveing my life like that ya no? They are just experiancing all this at once for the first time and a young age to so they joke around to make it seem less serious and awkward till they get to high school and then it could be all bad lol
Reply:I'm 20, but I have NEVER been into the stupid humor. I have a friend that's 24 and she does like the stupid humor. So it's not all teenagers. And I know plenty of guys that are past teen and still like that crap. I guess different people find different things to be funny. That may be all there is to it.

Reply:It seems like you are a teen who finds yourself different among the others. I too find it difficult to fit into most people in my age group. For instance, my friends and I are not interested in the same kind of music or movies. I'd really want to fit in, but I simply couldn't. it's just that I find most of them really crap and cannot force myself to like them. It is a good thing to notice the difference in you. Perhaps your are more mature than those in your age, that's why you are different. All you can do now is to grow up and you'll eventually meet people like you. Remember, you are not the only teen who feels like being out of the loop.
