Why cant people treat teens like teens?

i aint asking u guys to treat us like adults but why do u treat us like teens huh?i"ll give u an example-


in my country india and my state gujrat they do not give u a passport unless u r 15.r we gonna kill them or what?at least give to 13 or 14 year olds.kids have all the fun but we sit for 10 and 12 exams it is so stressful.our parents expect so much from us.and we r treated like kids.in even clothes stores here they categorise even 14 year olds as kids.i say this is injustice.


plzz guys treat us like teens not adults and not kids

Why cant people treat teens like teens?
Here in the United States most 14 year old teens including my gran-daughter want to be treated like an adult and not as a teen.I wish more of them would remain young and not try to grow up so quickly.Being an adult is hard work and I would love to able to do the things I use to do.I am truly sorry for your dilemma and hope that things will soon change for the better in your own life.Good luck and don't grow up too fast.
Reply:until you are self-supporting you are a child (even at 17) as long as you rely on others for support you need to follow the rules. families are not democracies they are dictatorships.
Reply:I think because some teenagers try to act grown, therefore when they are treated like adults are treated, they want to get angry, forgetting that it is there fault for acting the way they do.





P.S.


I'm a teen and this only reflects on my opinion, although I do think that sometimes we have to much pressure on us. It's really hard to think straight with all of the pressure.
