Pregnant teens--interview?
i got pregnant with my son at 16 had him at 17. I had my daughter at 19.

I really wish I could have had my son a few years later after going to college... but I know thats not possible but i wouldnt trade him for the world. There is no way I could support my kids my house and go to college right now. Its not easy, i work a minimum wage job and I only get child support for one of my kids. We eat because I get foodstamps and I'm lucky to be able to afford our cable bill! I dont have a car ...so I pay people to take us to the grocery store and my kids drs appointments. However things going as they are i should have a car in a couple months.

I dropped out of school because i felt that my son was my responsibility to take care of and no one else's. I did get my GED but most people who drop out dont.

Its not easy to be a mother expecially when you havent established your own life and career.

I love my children with all my heart they are my everything and I wouldnt change what my life has been so far.

(and health wise... i dont know about anyone else... but being pregnant made my teeth get cavities... bad. it'll cost thousands to get them fixed.)
Reply:interview Jamie lynn lol
Reply:My sister is and when I saw your question I called her. Here is her response.

"I was shocked at first. But than when everybody started noticing I soon found out there were 7 other pregnant girls at my high school. I was home schooled after 6 months. My parents were mad and wanted me to be kicked out. They soon saw how mature I became. It was definatley too soon but if it wasn't I wouldn't have my miracle to survive."

Reply:I concieved at 19, Im 20 now.

It was the best thing to ever happen to me. I was going down a bad path but this baby has changed my attitude and priorities for the better. Im healthy, happy and optimistic. I was the opposite before.
Reply:Being a pregnant teen isn't an ideal situation, but I wouldn't trade my son for the world. Yes everything is harder now. It's hard to make it through college for sure. I have to take time off of school everytime he gets even the slightest bit sick. It's still worth it though. He is an amazing 2 1/2 year old boy and as bright as he can be. I can't even look back on my pregnancy and regret it, because that would mean to regret this perfect angel. It drives me crazy when people insult pregnant teens just because they are young. Age has no impact on how good or bad of a parent you are going to be. Would I recomend it to a teen to get pregnant? No. If a teen fell pregnant on accident would I tell her she could do it? Absolutely.

Reply:I'm Jamie W. I'm 16 years old, and 17 in a half weeks pregnant. I found out when I was 8 weeks along. I was scared at first to tell my mom. My brother's girlfriend actually told her for me because I was so scared. My mom wasn't ma at all. She just gave me a hug and said "Welcome to motherhood" lol. I had to end up telling my dad.... didn't really go to well... at first. Now he's cool and supportive about it. I'm also his only daughter so he didn't want me getting prego and ending up getting dumped or having the guy bail on me. Everything's going great for me. I don't really eat that healthy.. I mean.. I eat fruits and veggies.. but I like happy meals, pickles, cucumbers with vinigar, water, and salt. It's actually all I still eat. Um... my pregnancy has been pretty rough and good all at the same time. I don't know, I've been thinking about my future and I'm hoping I can graduate on time. I got a job interview next Tuesday and I have an ultrasound in 3 weeks. I'm hoping for a little boy. But whatever it is... I'll love it either way. Well this is all I'm going to type for now, if you have any questions just ask me :).

Hope this helps!!
