Plus sized teens?

i really hate it how there is really no clothes out there for plus sized teens. i wish that abercrombie and hollister would make clothes just a little bit bigger. i am not super super big because i still fit into american eagle and aeropostale but do any plus sized teens know where to get clothes that look like the brands i have mentioned? don't you hate it how abercrombie and hollister make clothes extra small. i have heard of people that are super skinny and weigh like 100lbs and have to wear a size large in those brands when they are like an extra small in other brands. im just wondering what do other teens think about this?

Plus sized teens?
It's a horrible thing that they do to women. I know that it may be hard to hear since you are a teen and fashion and brands seem very important to you and to your sense of acceptance within a social group, but if a brand wants to exclude you just because they want to make everyone look 100lbs or feel like crap then that brand does not deserve your business.

Brands really shouldn't matter. You can really still look good without a name one the shirt or pants. If you can't fully accept that idea, then find another brand which is still "cool" and does their part by offering a size spectrum which includes more people.
Reply:yea torrid and has some amazing stuff

also www.alloy.com has some awesome stuff

i saw a pair of cargos at alloy that looked exactly like these cargos at a%26amp;f except $30 cheaper
Reply:100lbs is not super skinny. I think that's ideal. I am 5'4'' 105lbs and I feel fat... I wear medium in abercrombie %26amp; hollister. I suggest old navy... their clothes are huge and a bargain
Reply:yeah torrid is awesome. but i totally know what ur saying. Plus sized 17 yrs old. dont feel bad. also some wal marts have cute tops, Avenue, Lane Bryant and Fashon Bug are also good, just have to find the cute stuff. good luck and have fun
Reply:I don't know any stores that would probably have a similiar style as Abercrombie or Hollister. Though, I have some tips. I was watching the Tyra show. First your could wear a sort of corset thing under your clothes, and it will suck in all of your fat. Dark colors make people look skinny. Also long jeans make you look taller. Heels make you look taller. The taller you are the longer you look. Which makes you look skinny. I sometimes wear Express tops that are tight by the chest and then loose after that. So you look really pretty. But, im just in high-school. It works to. I sometimes wear baby-dolls with capris. Because I have an excellent neck line. Most people do. So I show that off, but I look tremendously skinny because it is loose after the tank passes my bust. You should really try it, and I hope it works.
Reply:I'm not a teen when you are adult it hard to find plus sizes too
Reply:there is only one solution sweetheart, hit the gym and get slim
Reply:Try going to those companies online websites. THey sometimes do carry the larger sizes just not in the stores. Keep up the work on losing weight its a slow process but worth it.
Reply:Old Navy sells plus size clothes. Also, try alloy.com, delias.com, and torrid.com.

good luck!
Reply:I love torrid. My pants size is a 15, so I have to get basically the smallest thing there. Most of the stuff they sell is "rocker" I guess you could call it, but they do have some pretty cute things. It wouldn't hurt to check it out. You might find something you like. And don't get mad if people call you fat. The average size for the American woman (18-24) is a size 14. There's nothing wrong with being healthy.
Reply:my plus sized neighbor wears torrid clothes and old navy and she looks great in them. lots of cute things. and don't let those other people get to u about losing weight...sometimes its too hard and near impossible if its in your family history and its your body type to be larger framed.
