Why do teens -(Except me) think of like 11 year olds like little kids?!Their PRE-TEENS?
maturity levels. take an 11 year old and a 16 year old for example .. yes both are still immature. (im a teenager myself and i will admit it) but there is a big difference between the two. it also really just depends on the person. but overall there is a difference.
Reply:It depends on your point of view. To me (I'm 52), they're little kids. But then, to someone in their 90s, I'M a little kid. It's all relative, so hang out with the people you like, and don't worry about their age.
Reply:11 year olds, 16 year olds, 18 year olds, doesn't matter. ALL KIDS.

When you are older, you will soon realize that and why.
Reply:i agree too. i hang out with young people sometimes too and i dont feel like they are little and dont understand most things.
Reply:Teens (except you, of course) look at pre-teens as "little kids" because the teens like to think "BIG" of themselves, as though they've matured in some way. I, at my age, well past teenage, look at teens as little "wet-behind-the-ears" premies who think they're actually mature in some way, when, in reality, they know absolutely nothing about life, and, in fact, are actually blinded by their immaturity. But then, maybe an "old man", as my 23 year old Iraqi Freedom veteran son often calls me, I'm the one blinded by the fantasy that I, at my age and level of education and life experiences, am actually mature and have "all the answers". It's an ego thing, regardless of one's age. God Bless you.
Reply:good question, I'll ask my great grandson.??
Reply:Because mentally they still are kids. They can't reason they same way a 14 year old can, and a 14 year old is not the same as a 16 year old etc. Your emotions are different due to hormones, your perception is different due to the shorter life. The chemicals and the human body will keep changing into the early 20's. That's why we drive at 16, vote at 18, and don't get alcohol rights until we're 21.

Pre-teens use the language they hear around them, but there is a fraction of it that is just echoing.
Reply:i agree with u except for the part about hanging around with them
Reply:Sorry but after reading the responses and the grammar used here, I think both teens and pre-teens are little kids. Try reading what you type out loud before you submit it. Just a suggestion, don't hate.
