and waved hence instigating the tiger? Bottom line, whatever the hell these half drunk teens did and if they shouted at it and said bite my A@@ you moth@# f@$$. Does it matter? the Zoo spokesman claiming on CNN, now the truth comes out, the tiger was instigated..... Isnt that a load of bollocks? i have grown up , gotten drunk with friends and shouted at wild animals and peopl plenty of times. The tiger enclosure was 4 metres too low. Isnt it appaling that they mention the teens had twice the legal alcohol limit (FOR DRIVING ) and had marijuana in their system, so what ? were they driving ? hell no! .... Moreover is there now unacceptable to shout at wild animals from outside an enclosure at a zoo?. Is this what society has come too ? teen gets killed by an escaped tiger at a zoo, and these r supposed to be factors ?

Reply:It may sound silly but I think the idea of any wild animal encolsed like that is crappy. I dont like zoos I think its kinda cruel to force a wild animal to live out their life in a place where is was just not ment to be. I dont blame the tiger for acting the way nature create them. As for the kids there just dumb

the wall has been sub-standard for many years, and there have been no incidents





had these boys not been impared they would not have provoked taunted and broke the rules of the zoo (they were on and over the rails by admisson as well) then the tiger would not have been agitated enough to try to jump the fence.





It had ALWAYS been unacceptable to shout and taunt at any animals at at any zoo - there are signs all over the place, warnings in the handouts...how long has it been since you were at a zoo????





It doesn't change the fact that the zoo takes some responsibility for the tragedy, and they aren't trying to shirk the fact that the enclosure was sub standard...the boys at first lied about their activites - then tried to cover up. They have to take their share of responsibility for the attack too.
Reply:They shouldn't have been harrassing the animal...but this is truly a lousy way to find out that a zoo enclosure wall is way too short. In my opininion, the zoo should/could have anticipated that some tourists are idiots.

Reply:The idiots got what the deserve I wish that all three of them would have got eaten I would have paid to see it as a matter of fact. Yes it does matter that they taunted tha animal even if the enclosure was as high as it was supposed to be you would be surprised what animals can do physically to over come barriers when they are pissed off. Good for the tiger it's just sad that they had to kill it instead of tranquilizing it.
Reply:The tiger enclosure was not tall enough according to national zoological officials, but he didn't just yell at the tiger. He climbed up on the rail and instigated a predatory animal that weighs over 500 pounds. He is a total moron and he got what he deserves.
Reply:ummm first of all are teens shouldnt be drinking and if they are they shouldnt drink to much and they shpuld make sure that there parents are ok with it.


i am almost 16 and i will addmit i drink sometimes but i will not drink to much.


just never get in a car with a drunk driver or if u r DONT DRIVE you will hert other people because of yourself think of them things before you do them.

Reply:if ur referring to the San Fransisco tiger, those teens were dumba$$es. first, they got high and drunk. second, they were messin with a ****** tiger. third, i believe the tiger was a Siberian Tiger,which is close to extinction, so they just got an endangered tiger killed. they got what they deserved.
