well thank god my daughter who is going to be 14 soon is still playing with dolls and hasn't shown much interest in boys YET but if she came to me im sure my heart would sink into my chest!!!!


after that i would support her choice and educate her on one of them first.


i don't like abortion but when it is your own kid........i don't know what i would do on that subject....wow this is a harder question then i thought to answer!!!!!





lets put it this way when i was 16 i found out i was pregnant with my daughter and abortion was never a thought but my mom said i should ......i didn't and even though it has been hard i don't regret her for one moment.


waiting would have been ideal though!!!!





i had barely any support from my mother ever with any of my kids so if my daughter was in my shoe's no matter what age i would support her to the fullest and help her raise her child.


i would want to be the mother my mother couldn't be and not continue this cycle.
Reply:All of my kids are under 6 but if my sons told me they had gotten a girl pregnant or my daughter told me she was pregnant I would be extremely mad, but I think I would remain calm. I really and truly hope that instill enough values and self esteem into my children that they don't feel the need to have sex before they get married, but I cannot say for sure that all the good parenting skills in the world would prevent it from happening. In the case that it does happen, I will be mad, but I will be there for my child. No, I won't be a free babysitter, except for them to go to school.
Reply:Crap. I thought I only had a couple years left til I had the house to myself. Now I get to go through it all over again.





I wonder how much THIS is going to cost me.
Reply:we where teenage parents, and we came out sane, and our kids are happy and healthy.
Reply:I am 14 and when I told my mom she was a little angry,then happy,then angry then now...she is really happy and so much more supportive then I thought she would have...

Reply:i am not a mother nor am i pregnant. I am only 16, but i think teens dont actually think things throughly. Cause even with the pill or condoms it isnt 100% baby proof. I do feel bad for them considering they have to go through 9 months of pain for one night of fun.
Reply:I am 19 and pregnant, my mum was shocked but happy. She is just concerned for me. my mum was a single teenage parent, and me and my sister turned out just fine. We had lovely clothes, a beautiful house and everything we could of asked for. My mum has been a social worker for 22 years and is a very hard worker. so it just goes to show that not all teenage mums havent got there head screwed on. I feel it doesnt matter how old you are when you have a baby, you just have to know that its a lot of responsibility and you have to do your best to give your child a good life! x
