There will be about 50 kids there. We don't have a huge budget - nothing can be heated - and we don't just want JUNK.
I'm thinking..
microwave popcorn
carrots and ranch
spinich dip
cheese and crackers
What else would you really like to eat if you were hanging out with about 50 other pre-teens/teens.
Pre-Teens/Teens - Best food for a social event?
I think you have a good start. I would include a range of veggies, rather than just carrots. My choices would be celery sticks, broccoli, yellow peppers, red %26amp; green peppers, maybe cherry tomatoes. Lots of color adds interest.
You can also make a fun trail mix with baby pretzels, raisins, chex cereal, peanuts and m%26amp;ms (you can use the holloween colored pack of m %26amp; m's if it's that kind of party.)
Reply:I LOVE Carrots %26amp; Ranch (creamy ranch)

Reply:Ugh, no one's going to want nothing but healthy stuff! (Belive me!) How about adding a few sweets? Fruit is good (although skip the melons and catalops, they're hard to find tasty ones.) Make brownies, have chips 'n dips. Meats and stuff like that.
