Helping teens find christ milwaukee?
PROVERBS 22:6 says

6) Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Now you say that you are born again. which tells me that there were some changes that needed to be made and you repented for your past. excellent! continue your strength in the Lord. Now your son who I know that you only want the best for him is caught in the pressure of his peers.( correct me if I am wrong; I am trying to hear the reaching out of your voice) You say he has not any christian friends or do not know any in his high school. So let's start by introducing him to his first christian friend, YOU. The reason he has no christian friends is because his friends might not be seeking the christian life. So to lead him into God's religion, you must teach him the rights and wrongs according to bible. And getting teens to even read the bible is very hard these days. Start by asking him about his knowledge of God, because we must understand who he is first, and understand why we must acknowledge him. Keep your conversation easy and simple. We do not want to drive or frustrate, we know how teens can be sometimes. We want to draw him in. like Jesus said in

St. Matthew 4: 18,19

18) And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called peter, and andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

19) And he said unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

So with the right Word of God, let's let God draw you son to him

I am from the chicago area, and I do not know milwaukee that well, but am willing to help in any way possible, god willing to save souls. I pray for you and your son. Amen
Reply:The best thing you can do for your friend is to set an example by the way you live your life. It shouldn't be hard for you to find a church in your area that has a good youth program. Almost every Christian church has one. And usually they have tons of really fun activities. You could invite him and go with him.

It definitely sounds like he would really benefit from a church youth group.

But you know that the very BEST thing you can do for anyone is to pray, pray, pray for them. PRAYER WORKS%26gt;
Reply:This is something that HE wants for himself, right? Cuz if this is just you pushing your religion on someone, don't bother. If God is truly up there, He will find a way to welcome your friend into his life if that's what is meant to be. You obviously have the internet, so look up some local churches and go talk to them. I'm sure that even if a church doesn't have a good program for him, they can help you find a place that does.
Reply:It sounds like the brother and father are the ones who have put him right off; and he needs more + role models re. Christian leadership. Does he go to a religious school? If so, maybe someone of the clergy, or a teacher or counsellor with a strong Christian faith could put him in the right direction.

cheers
