Teens, why people like smoking?

Can you tell me the effect in teen's body, how does it work in teens body, why teens do that, and what is the effect for teen's future. Can you answer seriously, because i'm in a observation for now, and I need teens to answer for my paper work. Thank You

Teens, why people like smoking?
I read some of this stuff on the internet about a month ago for my English class.





In my opinion smoking is just stupid and a waste of time and money, it doesn't make you look cool either.





Many teens who smoke are more likely to do/try other drugs, drink, be suicidal, depressed, and participate in other risky activities such as unprotected sex, etc.





Also... about half of the teens that DO start smoking don't think they will be smoking in 7 years, but a lot of them still are.





It can also cause: emphysema, heart attack, stroke, heart disease %26amp; MORE!





Most kids do it to look cool %26amp; fit in/make new friends.

Reply:I think people like smoking because it can relax them and because of peer pressure.It can give somebody lung problems.

I myself am a smoker and I started in school with my peers. At first I thought it was fun but then when i wanted to stop, I couldnt.


It's a total waste of money and once you're addicted you cannot stop. I smoke about 5 or 6 cigarettes a day and wen i dont i have feeling of impatience and I feel restless.





I'm trying to quit but im finding it pretty hard.
Reply:Well i am a smoker. yea i know its nasty but it calms me down. i have anger problems and it helps me from hurting me or anyone else. i know it will give me and anyone else who does smoke lung cancer,also pregnant woman could result in fetal injury,premature birth,and low birth weight.its very addictied.
